Growing economically
Not everyone has the financial means to purchase equipment
more expensive from the first cultivation. And sometimes it's even funny
try to do everything while spending little. Below you will find several tricks and tips for spending as little as possible!
Economical alternatives.
You can find cheap and practical alternatives to do a number of things.
And you can do it from the beginning: the seeds.
Germination can take place in special greenhouses with seed trays.
But you can also use egg containers, fruit crates or
plastic containers of mushrooms or grapes, for example. Just like Greenhouses , these have plastic lids that keep moisture and heat inside. You can also cut a plastic bottle and put seeds in the bottom. Use the top of the bottle as a protective cap.
Ask others and recycle! Pots for outdoor cultivation can
be quite expensive, but very often other people need them
to get rid of it. Ask around, on social media and on pages that
promote online recycling. You might even find someone who
sells support structures, materials and anything else at rock-bottom prices or
even for free.
Save on water by storing rainwater in a rain barrel.
In addition to the economic savings, you will also have a water reserve for periods
of drought. Be careful though, because rainwater favors the development of
microbes and parasites.
By putting these ideas into practice you can save a lot on outdoor growing equipment.
Where can I buy
the materials?
Seeds.
You can buy seeds of most plant species and varieties
in all nurseries, garden centers and online shops. Find out in advance
if you want specific characteristics for your plant, to understand what the
right variety for you. You will find information and support on the forums. If you want to buy hemp seeds click here . Remember that there may also be special offers where you can get more seeds for the same price. Some plants have specific varieties and are more suitable for outdoor cultivation. This is very important if you want to put your plants out early, for example around mid- May. At that time of year, the ground may still be frozen and your seeds may not handle those temperatures. So, make sure you buy the right variety of seeds if you want to plant sooner.
If you grow in pots, we recommend purchasing a specific substrate. Do you want to know where to buy specific substrates? Click here.
Make sure your pots are suitable for outdoor growing and have enough drainage holes in the bottom. The substrate must be able to eliminate excess water. You can improve drainage by placing a layer of perlite or ceramic in the bottom of your pot. This is a great budget alternative.
Cultivation styles.
Make sure you don't mix organic and mineral products. It wouldn't be a
irremediable mistake, but these products were designed for objectives
different. If you combine mineral and organic products, your nutrition
it will no longer be in harmony with the substrate and you will most likely not get it
excellent results. The products in the Dois catalog indicate cultivation styles and
dosages, so you can figure out which nutrient is good for which type
of substrate. Alga Grow and Alga Bloom combine with 100% substrates
NATURAL, while Terra Grow and Terra Bloom with 100% TERRA. In this case,
it is a choice between quality or quantity of the final harvest.
