Sensi Seeds California Indica Feminized
The cannabis seeds of the California Indica variety developed by Sensi Seeds were obtained from a huge mother plant native to California, very productive, with orange buds, with characteristics reminiscent of a sativa. We then crossed this Californian variety with long flowering and open buds with our Northern Lights #1 x Hash Plant hybrid – the same cross of entirely Afghan origin and high resin production already selected for the creation of our famous Hash Plant variety. Compared to the mother sativa plant, the daughters thus obtained showed significantly better flowering time, bud density and resin content, while compared to the father they had a sweeter and fruitier taste and a less heavy effect. The same parent and mother plants have now been used to develop California Indica Feminized cannabis.

California Indica Feminized cannabis seeds produce robust, indica-dominant plants, yet with notable sativa characteristics. The indica genes determine the growth habit of the plants, which are heavy and flower quickly. The shoot bristles, with long and abundant pistils, have a tendency to grow along the main stem and lateral branches, thus bridging the space between the internodes of dense, resinous inflorescences.
For indoor cultivation, the size of California Indica Feminized plants can be kept down through controlled flowering, while in milder continental climates, outdoor cultivation allows you to obtain plants the size of small trees! Thanks to the vigor of the hybrid, the weight of the most productive specimens increases slightly more during the flowering phase compared to pure indica varieties. In indoor cultivation, the height of the aerial part of the plant usually increases by 100-150% during the 7-8 weeks of the flowering phase.
The seeds of this cannabis variety produce buds for true connoisseurs. Careful growers will be rewarded with large buds, covered in a layer of crumbly resin by the time they are harvested. Once dried, California Indica Feminized buds appear more orange than green, due to the huge amount of mature pistils. The color of the thick hair present on the calyxes ranges from red to an intense yellow, with some occasional pink pistils.
During the growth and flowering phases, the scent of this strain is quite delicate. But once dried and prepared for storage, the buds develop a rich and delicious aroma, the perfect balance between the bitterness of the hash and the sweet citrus of the sativa. The dominant fruity note is orange, although some California Indica Feminized specimens have a citrus aroma that is more reminiscent of lemon or grapefruit.
