Description
Royal Queen Seeds Green Ice Cream
Green Gelato is perhaps the hybrid with the most delicious flavors in the entire RQS catalogue. Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbet have teamed up to create a new "dessert variety" that's even richer and more succulent. Treat yourself and grow one of the tastiest marijuana plants, ready in just 8-9 weeks of flowering.
Fresh out of the birthplace of the San Francisco Bay Area's best cannabis genetics, we meet the finest Cookies hybrids ever. By crossing Thin Mint Cookies with Sunset Sherbet, a new era of delicious cannabis strains was born. The #33 “Larry Bird” has proven to be the magic number for Green Gelato, the sweetest and most popular specimen in California. The crosses carried out had a single objective: to find the perfect hybrid mixture. Green Gelato is the most powerful and tasty result of this project.
Ice cream (dessert) is much more than a simple and banal dessert, it is a delicacy for true connoisseurs. In Italy, an artisanal ice cream is considered high quality only when it exceeds rigorous quality standards and contains specific ingredients. We consider that our Green Gelato adheres to equally professional artisan practices. The unique genetics of the San Francisco Bay area were essential to create this good and wholesome Gelato.
CULTIVATION
Green Gelato is a very vigorous indica-dominant hybrid that responds well to both pruning and trimming. The plants become medium-tall, with a very high flower/leaf ratio. Topping, Fimming, LST, Main-Lining and ScrOG are all highly recommended techniques for maximizing final yields. The flowers unite in compact small-medium sized clusters, rather than developing larger and elongated inflorescences. Cooler night temperatures in the final weeks of flowering can stimulate lavender and purple hues on the buds. Indoors, Green Gelato is ready to harvest after just 8-9 weeks with a standard 12-12 light cycle. Whether you grow organically or hydroponically, be sure to close the cycle with a good root wash to release the fragrances and aromatic profile of these buds.
AROMA AND FLAVOUR
Thin Mint is probably the tastiest Girl Scout Cookies phenotype out there. Taking advantage of its sweet mint biscuit flavors mixed with the citric orange fragrances inherited from Sunset Sherbet, the delicious Green Gelato was born, with a magnificent combination of fruity flavours. The purple hues highlight the aesthetic beauty of the compact buds and their orange hairs. Furthermore, it releases a strong, yet intriguing, Kush aroma and delicious berry notes, which will drive most cannabis users into sensory overload. And this will happen before you have even experienced the effects of the THC in the buds, even higher than 25%.
You will definitely be shocked and awed by this plant, in a good way of course. Green Gelato will delight your senses before you even have the chance to fully savor the tremendous potency of her almost narcotic smoke. “Yummy, really delicious, really fun, but maybe I should start looking for a chair to sit in.” The mind is hit by a strong impulse of energy and creativity. And your mood will also be incredibly lifted, but your body will feel noticeably weighed down.
